Anna Saha was born in Saarbrücken, Germany, in 1984. After playing the violin and piano, she started taking first flute lessons at the age of eight. Ms. Saha began her studies at the Mainz School of Music , Germany, with Dejan Gavric and later continued with Carlos Bruneel at the Brussels Royal Conservatory , Belgium, completing both Bachelors and Masters degrees with honors.
Complimenting her degrees, she gathered performance experience participating in master classes with Paul Edmund Davies, Vicens Prats, Philippe Bernold and Emmanuel Pahud. After completing her studies, she moved to Berlin to play in the Academy of the Staatskapelle Berlin , where she played under such important directors as Daniel Barenboim, Pierre Boulez und Michael Gielen. Her orchestral career would then take her to the State Orchestras Hannover, Saarbrücken , and Brunswick , and the Düsseldorf Symphony.
Since 2018, Ms. Saha is the Solo Flautist in the Sinfonieorchester Aachen . She regularly makes guest appearances with orchestras like La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra in Brussels, the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra , the Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin and the Gürzenich Orchestra of Cologne . Ms. Saha is currently the Solo Flutist of the Beethoven Orchestra Le Concert Olympique in Belgium . She joined the ARUNDOSquintett in 2016.
